China, six character Xuande seal "Da Ming Xuande wu nian", 17th ct.
H. 95 cm (146,5 cm mit Sockel)
Supported by three elephant heads. Finely decorated in openwork with grapes and tendrils, interrupted by medallions with animals and inscriptions. The lid is crowned by a sculptural lion as a handle. Dark patinated bronze.
